Product Overview
The Belt Conveyor Tripper (also known as a Tripper Car) is a mechanism used to “trip” the material off the conveyor belt at specified locations between the head and tail pulleys. It rides on rails installed alongside the conveyor frame.
This equipment is essential for large-scale storage facilities, such as indoor coal storage sheds, fertilizer warehouses, and grain terminals, where material needs to be distributed evenly over a long distance.
Working Principle
The belt rises up on the tripper incline, passes over a discharge pulley, and deposits the material into a diversion chute. The material is then directed to one side, both sides, or back onto the belt (if no discharge is needed).
