The Self-Cleaning Wing Pulley (often used as a Tail Pulley or Gravity Take-up Pulley) is the ideal solution for bulk handling systems carrying wet, sticky, or abrasive materials.
Unlike standard solid pulleys, the Wing Pulley features individual fins (wings) supported by gussets. This unique design creates a beating action that dislodges material from the belt cover, while the open gaps allow debris to be ejected to the sides, preventing belt misalignment and carcass damage caused by lump entrapment.
